Effective date: July 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how JOURNEY CONCEPTS LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use chirosystems.netlify.app and our services (the "Service").
Information you provide: your account email and password (passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider; we never see your plain password), any email address you provide to use our AI tools or receive our newsletter, and any information you send us by email or support request.
Information collected automatically: usage and progress data (which modules and lessons you access and your completion progress) so we can show your progress and provide the Service, and standard technical data your browser sends (such as device and browser type) used to operate and secure the Service.
Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full payment card number. Stripe handles card data under its own terms. We receive limited confirmation information, such as whether a payment succeeded and a transaction reference.
Do not enter protected health information. Our AI tools are educational and are not designed, intended, or authorized to receive protected health information. Do not enter patient identifiers, patient health details, case names, claim numbers, or any confidential case information. Anything you submit may be stored and reviewed.
What we store: the questions you ask the Deposition Brain, the practice answers you submit to the Hot Seat, and a one-way encrypted (hashed) representation of your IP address used solely to enforce usage limits and prevent abuse. We do not store your IP address itself. This content helps us operate the tools, prevent misuse, and understand what practitioners need.
AI-generated content: responses, scores, and coaching from these tools are generated by artificial intelligence from curated source material. They are educational information only. They are not legal advice, medical advice, or a prediction of any outcome, and they should be independently verified before you rely on them.
Email you provide to continue a session: if you provide an email address to continue using the Hot Seat, we store it and use it to operate the tool and to send our newsletter on defensible documentation and deposition preparation. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you may request deletion of your address at any time.
We use your information to: provide and maintain the Service; create and manage your account; grant access to content you purchase; track and display your course progress; operate our AI tools and enforce usage limits; process payments (via Stripe); send our newsletter to those who have provided an email address for that purpose; respond to your requests; and secure and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.
We share limited information with third-party providers who help us operate the Service, only as needed for them to perform their functions: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Netlify (website hosting), Brevo (newsletter delivery), and, for our AI tools only, Anthropic (which generates responses) and Voyage AI (which processes text so relevant source material can be retrieved). Each processes data under its own privacy terms. We do not authorize them to use your information for their own marketing.
We use cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate the Service, such as keeping you logged in. Our AI tools store a record in your browser's local storage to remember that you have already provided an email address, so that you are not asked again on that device. If we add analytics or non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide any notice or consent required by law.
We retain your account and progress data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Questions, practice answers, and newsletter email addresses are retained until you request their deletion or we no longer need them for the purposes described above. You may request deletion of your account and associated data (see "Your rights" below). We may retain certain records where required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at alignedbyboykins@gmail.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. You may also unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls and reliance on established providers (Supabase, Stripe, Netlify, Brevo, Anthropic). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is intended for professionals and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
